THE VERB PHILOSOPHY
Architecture is alive. It shapes our thoughts & actions. It interacts with us as we interact with it. It raises the question: Where do we end and where does the world begin? In the way that the brain and the body cannot be separated, the environment and the body cannot be separated. We’re asking not what a building is in an object sense, but what it does in the sense of an ongoing dynamic process.
WHAT VERB DOES
VERB, a full-service architecture firm, offers a dynamic, collaborative suite of services designed to create spaces where the human experience can come to life.

OUR PEOPLE

Rion Snowden
“I have always been interested in designing spaces that facilitate life, interaction, and experience,” Rion said. “Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients, contractors, and construction professionals who bring valuable perspectives to the table. The magic really happens in collaboration, when every voice is heard, and the space comes to life to serve the project’s and the people’s best interests.”
Rion says his greatest adventures thus far have been being a husband and a father. An unapologetic family man, Rion and his wife Joy enjoy spending time with their two sons, Ralph and Davis, at their home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Ethan Hartfield
After receiving his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Southern Mississippi, Ethan worked in an architectural firm for eight years before co-founding VERB. “At VERB, we’re focused on creating an environment where all vested interests have a voice in the design process.”
Ethan and his wife, Ashley, are originally from and currently live in Hattiesburg, Mississippi with their daughter, Thea. He is currently on the path to licensure and pursuing a Master of Architecture at Southern Illinois University.

Mitch Hembree
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mitch developed a diverse skill set in a variety of fields including engineering, project management, and construction. His experience in the design-build world makes him an invaluable asset not only to VERB, but to the clients as well. “I understand what it takes to carry a project from initial concept to occupancy.”
Mitch, a Gulf Coast native, moved to Hattiesburg in 2006 where he met wife Diana. Mitch looks forward to having a hobby when his two boys, Jack and Hudson, are a little older.
